Elves are a fictional species that existed in J.R.R Tolkien's The Hobbit & The Lord of The Rings. They are a species that are blessed with Eternal Life unless they are killed.
Work[]
Most elves are skilled craftsmen and fighters. They are associated with light and live in beautiful kingdoms of Light.
Their swords are very valued and respected by all; one example of this is 'The Blade-that-was-broken' which was used to cut off the Ring of Power from the Dark Lord, Sauron's hand.
Known Elves[]
Important Elves of Middle Earth are:-
- Thranduil- King of the Wood Elves of Mirkwood. Lead his elf armies in the Battle of the Five Armies.
- Legolas Greanleaf- Son of Thranduil. Powerful Archer and swordsman. Killed Bolg the Orc during Battle of the Five Armies and was part of the Fellowship of the Ring.
- Lord Elrond- Lord of Rivendell. Took part in the War against Sauron.
- Arwen- Daughter of Elrond.
- Lady Galadriel- Most powerful Elf Queen. Is bearer of an Elf Ring.
